Every bike computer I have seen requires you to input the circumference of your front tire in inches or millimeters. You measure the circumference by marking your tire with chalk, rolling the bike forward for one revolution of the wheel, and measuring the distance it moves. The nominal tire size has something to do with this measurement, but the relationship is not direct. The only way to be sure you have it right is to measure.
