the magnet that goes on the spoke has to be placed exactly where the book says or the speed will be way off.

Just stop riding the bike and it will turn off by itself in a few minutes. The clock remains on all the time. Not really an issue as the battery can last years.
Good for you, but I guess $.99 does not include shipment, so DX is still cheaper.

Yes, there’s a sensor hooked up to the fork and a small magnet attached to the whell.
dude, does it know how fast your moving because it is hooked up to u weel or somthing?
