@nikospneuma1 Yes it does. I have read forums saying that the battery doesn’t last for very long, some claims it lasts for only 4 months and the battery had to be changed because the signal from the wireless transmitter keep getting cut. As a result, it would not give an accurate reading. I’m here to testify that they probably just got a bad set. I’ve been using it for more than a year already and it has yet to show me the low battery sign. Mileage on the computer so far is 900.7km.
does the battery last for long?
@grgreko123 Thanks for your comment. It has a backlight but it does not stay on for more than 2-5 secs. The reason for this is simple: to save battery life considering it is a wireless system and for your safety so as to not distract you from looking at the road ahead. I do not think there is a system out there that has the feature you are looking for due to the aforesaid reason.
nice speedometer. I have a question, does the backlight on the speedometer stay on full (all the time on) or does it go off like a casio watch which lights up for a couple of secounds. I am looking for a speedometer for my bike that has a backlight or screen lights up all the time like a car, you know when you turn your headlights on in a car the gauges light up to be able to see at night i want a speedometer for my bike like that does it exist?
yeh, thats fair enough mate. no reason for the instuctions to be so complicated at all is there, even once its all set up i still need to set my wheel size n stuff n the instructions dont really help at all.
@Duffweiserable I meant set-up as how it looks on my bike. Because the instructions were really complicated, I didn’t think make sense to record the actual installation because it would take a long time.
good video but wheres the setup ?? the instructions may aswel be in wingdings for me
Awesome.. Mine is black.. Just got it last week from L & T. It works really well so far too..
UPDATE: After using this computer for a week, I had many opportunities to use it in the rain. 4 to be exact. And what can I say? It’s weatherproof too. Good to know because some computers say they’re waterproof but they leak in some water and the whole thing malfunctions. EXTREMELY value for money and I recommend it. If you read negative reviews about it, chances are, those people got bad sets. This one I have did what it was meant to do and it really exceeded my expectations.
